Service Description

Yoga Nidra 7 - 7:45 pm Every 2nd Thursday Yoga Nidra, in Sanskrit, literally means “yogic or psychic sleep.” It is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by guided meditations that use sensory awareness and visualizations to ease your body and mind into deep relaxation. Studies have shown that one hour of Yoga Nidra can equate to up to a full night of restful sleep! In this class, we first unwind through calming breathwork and very gentle movement, before settling into a comfortable and supported savasana for Yoga Nidra to begin. Plus, experience the healing vibrations of quartz singing bowls as you rest and restore. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and any extra props, pillows, and blankets that you’d like. You’re also encouraged to bring a journal and pen, if you’d like, to reflect on your experience.
